Franz Hinterreiter ~ Suiseki Collector

About Franz Hinterreiter: I was born in 1956. I am married and have four children. I'm a teacher and since 1995 I have been into Suiseki. When I was young, I was good at Judo. I´m still interested in Asian culture, and so I furnished an Asian room in our house where I keep some of my Suiseki.

I have collected all my Suisekis and manufactured all my Dais myself. I have also taken all the photos of my Suisekis and designed my website. I enjoy all my Suisekis very much. The intention of my website is to open eyes for the beauty of the natural images and shapes hidden in Suisekis.
